I would not recommend this company, nor would I ever use them again. Our project was for an outdoor covered arbor and landscaping. It started badly, never recovered, and seemed to get worse as the projects progressed.
On the arbor, they didn't start when they promised, didn't finish when they agreed, and kept requesting progress payments when none were warranted as very little progress was being made and not required by the contract. They did not fulfill contractual obligations of a gas firebox, installed a cheaper electric insert instead without consent, a model of which the manufacturer doesn't recommend for outdoor use, and still expected full payment for the gas model in the contract. Subcontractors were constantly showing up unscheduled, unannounced, and unsupervised, on weekends sometimes, not knowing exactly they were supposed to be doing forcing me to "manage" the project personally. (Overall, we are generally pleased with the result, except for the firebox.)
The landscaping was even more frustrating. Again, no adequate supervision led to multiple corrections having to be made, and it is still wrong. They don't even honor their inadequate 6-month plant warranty in their contracts. The choices they made for the walks were ill-advised, and the bed preparation was sub-standard at best. We really dislike the result, especially considering the cost incurred.
The entire process was an awful, arduous expensive endeavor that we regret undertaking with Clients First.

I would not use this company. In March of 2019, we paid them to put up a retaining wall, backfill and lay sod in our backyard. They finished the work and our lawn was terrible. It was bumpy and had divots everywhere. My kids kept twisting their ankles. They came back out and put dirt over the lawn, said it would all grow back evenly. It is almost 1.5 years later and our lawn is still awful. Patches everywhere where the grass never grew back and still very uneven.

Is fixing your mistake going outside of your policy? Wow! You did not replace the sod. It is the same sod you laid the first time. It was awful when it was first done! You came out and saw it yourself. You said y'all would fix it by laying topsoil over it. You did not fix it.

Description of work:
I had a firepit built and surrounded by pavers, a stone surround on a natural gas grill installed, 6" cedar posts added to my patio and an old grill removed.

I couldn't be happier with the work and level of service Zach and his team provided. They started on the agreed upon date and the crew arrived early each day to get started. Abel, Tomas, Estaban and the entire crew are very talented. I asked for minor changes and adjustments to the project as it was in progress and the crew had no problem making these changes. They came back at my request when the projects were completed to ensure I was 100% satisfied with the functionality of the firepit. I would highly recommend this landscaping company and I look forward to using them again.

We had a significant amount of work done to create an outdoor experience. It's more than a kitchen and more than a patio, it's a beautiful room to hang out with family and friends.

After looking at several vendors with went with Clients First. Mostly because our neighbor had chosen then and we thought it would be easy. From the moment we contact them until the work was finished, they did an outstanding job. Not only were they professional and did quality work, they ensured things were put away and cleaned up each day before they left. Every person was professional and courteous and the quality can't be beat.

They built an outdoor fireplace, kitchen and added stone to our exists posts. They also added some stone to a pathway. Fantastic work!!!!

I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

I think this company has a clear cut issue - looking at other reviews, either it was awesome and the best experience ever (hey, we put client's first!) or the worst initial sales experience ever.

Mine was the latter - lady on the phone gave me the same $2.5K minimum project (mine was going to be in the tens of thousands). I gave her a description of scope and she said "oh yea we do all that". Tried to nail down some dates and times to have a review/quote given and I was told "Our sales guy doesn't do after 5PM". I'm sorry, what do you expect to happen when people actually work for a living? Anyway, she said she'll make him come out after 5PM.

Day comes along - guy is 15 minutes late. Drives by our house twice in his clearly marked Infiniti with CFL logos all over it. Finally parks and comes to the door - clearly as uninterested in providing a quote as you could get. Give him a high level what we want to do, he says "Yep we can do all that, let me go get you my business card." Walks out, grabs a card, walks in and hands it to me and says he will have a quote over in 2-3 days.

Considering we are tearing out and replacing decking, redoing the pool, not even a single measurement? His quote comes (a week later I might add) with a single amount and two line items. What's the point? Why would anyone in their right mind ever go with this company if they provide a 2 line quote/estimate with no details, no measurements taken?

Worst sales experience ever.

Have no idea from where those review coming, I called them and woman told me they have 25K min for any backyard project and 5K minimum for concrete. Because they are COMPANY (right a)) they don't do estimate for no reason.

Zack, Mike, Tommy & the entire Client's First crew did an amazing job on our backyard.

Our 1968 North Dallas back yard had become dilapidated with considerable shade, little grass and massive drainage issues. We sought a landscaping company that could solve the drainage issues, install some hardscape, update our sprinklers and turn the shaded, no-grass dirt into a forest oasis.

We had discussions with many landscaping companies, but then we found Clients First. After meeting with Zach he sent a bid to us within 2 hours. He worked with us to make adjustments so it would fit in our budget and the result is a great back yard at a fair price.

We had our old concrete partially removed then a Pennsylvania Blue Stone patio overlaid the remaining concrete. Next to that they installed a french drain as well as one on the opposite site of the yard. Over that french drain a dry creek bed was laid. In the center of the yard they poured a new concrete patio for a fire pit area with poured concrete steps leading out to it and around the side of the yard integrating to the dried creek bed. In addition, they installed new sprinklers converting the old system to a water-conserving, drip system.

Throughout the process they communicated and collaborated on every detail. They began on time, every time, always respected us and our property.

There were a few unexpected hiccups which were addressed right away and solved to our satisfaction. For example, on the day of the concrete pour, they weren't able to start as early as planned, but still poured that day and stayed till 9 pm to smooth the pour.

I have nothing but praise for Clients First Landscaping. They are returning this spring to do the planting in the back yard and remodel our front yard as well. I would hire them again in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone for any landscaping project large or small. They really do put their Clients First.
